From the Owner — “A Place to Think. To Breathe.”
You can rent this collossal farmhouse on stilts made into a luxury villa for a thousand US dollars a month! It's within walking distance to Cha-am beach and a short drive away from the many gold courses available locally.
I built this house to get away from everything.
From meetings. From inboxes. From noise.
What I found here was more than peace.
I found perspective.
There’s something about waking up to mist over rice fields — a kind of quiet that clears your head. The house was raised in the traditional Thai style, not just for looks but for function. It stays cool. You sit downstairs and catch the wind. The kitchen was built for actual cooking — family meals, grilled fish, big Thai spreads under the house while the dogs sleep by the bar.
The upstairs is warm, woody, and peaceful. Rich hardwood underfoot, bookshelves, hidden nooks. I added the mezzanine just because… it felt right. It became a reading zone, a nap zone, a play area for the kids when they were young.
We call the little guest house “the Honeymoon House.” It’s private, self-contained, just a short stroll across the lawn. Great for friends, visiting family, or even a creative studio space.
I used to drive down from Bangkok on weekends and feel my blood pressure drop by the time I passed Phetchaburi. This place has been a sanctuary. It still is. But I’m traveling more now — and it’s time someone else lives this life, even if only for a season.
This house isn’t about square meters.
It’s about headspace.
If that’s what you need, I hope you find it here.

“I Was Built for Stillness, and the Occasional Party”
I may look traditional — but don’t be fooled. I’ve got soul.
My bones are teak and tile. My air smells like cut lemongrass. I hum with the sounds of crickets and frogs at night, and I breathe easier than most city homes ever could.
My best trick? The space beneath me. A breezy, shaded living zone with a bar, a BBQ, and that perfectly placed fan. That’s where the afternoons go. That’s where stories are told.
Inside, I stay cool. The kitchen’s always ready. The hidden mezzanine is perfect for the dreamers, the readers, the thinkers. My main rooms open wide — to rice paddies, to birds, to a kind of freedom that’s rare these days.
Then there’s my garden guest. That little “Honeymoon House” nearby — she’s shy, but full of charm. A studio. A sleepover. A love nest. Whatever you make of her.
And around us? Not villas. Not noise. Just land. Planted and real. Rice still grows here. And if you’re lucky, the farmer might share a tale or two when you cross paths.
I’m not new. I’m not flashy. But I’ve been lived in with care.
I’ve been a secret haven, a family retreat, a weekend escape.
And now, I’m ready again — for someone who gets it.
Someone who wants less noise… and more life.
Come sit beneath me. Hear the wind.
Baan Ny Nah is waiting.
